Is your kitchen looking a bit tired or outdated? Perhaps you no longer like the original style or you’re starting to notice some unfortunate wear and tear, inevitable after years of use. A kitchen refurbishment is a perfect way to update and reinvigorate your space, giving it a fresh and contemporary style without the expense and inconvenience of starting from scratch. At Cambridge Refurbishment Kitchens, we have a beautiful range of doors, worktops and appliances to choose from to suit your taste. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable professionals will be able to help remodel your old kitchen, giving it a truly transformational lease of life that you'll enjoy for many years to come.

How does the refurbishment process work?

The best way to start your project is with a visit to our Cambridge showroom. Here you can experience, first-hand, the superb quality and finish of all our kitchens and get a feel for what designs will suit your own space. Our talented team of experts will be on hand during your visit to offer advice and support, should you require it, and will be happy to answer any questions about your upcoming project.

Once you've decided on a style and you know exactly which aspects of your space you want to update, you can send these details alongside some photographs of your current kitchen to enable us to put together a quotation.

If you are happy with the quotation, we'll come out to your home to conduct a detailed survey. We will double-check the design is suitable and create a plan of action to ensure that work runs smoothly. This gives us an opportunity to talk you through the details and highlight any concerns that may require attention. Our friendly team of experts will do their utmost to accommodate any challenges or bespoke requirements to your design.

Once we have a plan in place, we'll get your kitchen ordered ready to start installing. One of the great benefits of a kitchen refurbishment is how much quicker it is to install than a complete renovation. The installation and fitting process will involve removing and disposing of any old fixtures to then fit the new units. Depending on the scale of your refurbishment, this will typically take 2-4 days, keeping disruption to a minimum. If you are opting for a composite or natural stone worktop, this will require a template and fit process, whereby the exact measurements are sent to our manufacturer to cut in their factory before it is delivered to your home for fitting which can take a little longer.
